ANDREW SHEIN
Andrew represents clients who are charged with criminal offenses in either State or Federal Court. Andrew handles all types of criminal offenses including felony, misdemeanor, traffic, and juvenile cases.
As a criminal trial specialist, Andrew will carefully evaluate and scrutinize any criminal case.
He will expose the weaknesses and errors in the State's case against you. Andrew will bring all his skills and experiences to fight for you in court.
Andrew has personally tried over 60 jury trials in Hillsborough County, including DUI, sexual battery, manslaughter, drug distribution, and other violent crimes and property crimes.
Before opening his own law firm in 2002, Andrew was an Assistant State Attorney in Tampa, Florida.
Andrew's impressive trial skills, hard work, and knowledge of the criminal justice system quickly distinguished him as an aggressive, fair, and skilled trial attorney. As a result, Andrew was promoted to the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse division. As a sex crimes prosecutor, Andrew handled the most complex criminal cases, often involving child witnesses and the presentation of DNA evidence.
In 2002, Andrew left the State Attorney's Office and founded The Law Offices of Andrew Shein, P.A. where he focused his skills and talents towards representing clients accused of violating the law. Andrew personally handles each and every aspect of his client's case and gives each client and their case the individual attention it deserves. Andrew is able to provide his clients with exceptional legal advice because of his experience in the criminal justice system and his background as both a prosecutor and defense attorney.
Andrew Shein is also experienced in handling cases in the United States Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division.
Andrew is appointed by federal court judges to represent defendants charged with serious offenses in Federal Court. These cases include Drug Trafficking and Conspiracy, Importation of Illegal Narcotics, Fraud, and Possession of Destructive Devices.
Andrew is the former Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Criminal Law Section.
As the chair, Andrew was responsible for publishing articles and creating and leading seminars on relevant topics to the criminal defense community.
